Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine group.
The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Material
Players who finish the mission will acquire an special katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Newest Free Story Content
This update also adds the game's newest no-cost story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
